Kitchen assistants perform all cleaning and preparation duties required in kitchens. They assist cooks and kitchen supervisors with all tasks necessary to ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly.
This course includes essential theory aspects and basic cooking techniques. Students may progress to the Highfield Qualifications Level 2 Diploma for Professional Cooks (RQF) immediately upon completion of the Kitchen Assistant course.
